the fence charger works good. There is enough resistance in the tires to run the battery dead overnight, but it will recharge during the day while the truck is not hooked up. Never hurt any computers in my vans. I don't really see how it could, it's not putting any current across any components.

 

The charger all set up with wires hooked to it @ the edge of the driveway did lead to an interesting conversation with the deputy when the van was stolen, howeverLaughing
