Subject: Re: Titan tires

There are definitely problems with the GY ag tires, I can't say too much about Titans since I only have one set and they are on a New Holland TLB. We have had numerous issues with the 900/65X32RII tires on combines, from extreme road lope, to the extent the combine would actually clear the pavement if you didn't slow down, to sidewall blowouts on 1 and two year old tires.
We have also had our share of problems with the 620/70 R 42 R 1.5 tires on a 4 X 4 tractor, from tread delaminations to seepy leaks in the sidewalls, on a tractor with less than 1500 hours on it.
The only reason we would even consider a GY ag tire is because of the dealer right up the street, but they also sell Michelins, so,,,,,,,,, and how can it be that a GY is more expensive than a Michelin of like size? What's up with that?
