After haveing both styles of planter in the same field, I have to say....are your crazy to take a great planter unit and put fingers in it???

I am pricing up a 12 row 30" Case 1250 front fold planter.....It has ground drive fert and seed. Individual seed boxes and no bug boxes. So your dealer must have to look a little deeper in his price book to find the planter you want.

Guess I didn't mean to say put fingers in a 1200 but be able to strip an 800 and put fingers in it. Will agree the 1200 planter is hands down the best planter. The 7000 12 row front fold I have is also nice because it has no hydraulics other than the markers, fold, and lift. The markers are one hydraulic hose and have an automatic valve. Have one connection for the monitor. We used it between 3 different tractors and pulled it behind a truck. I'm just talking simplicity like that.
