Sac & Story county IA | Don't plumb the airbox drains into the crankcase. The company made some motors that way, they didn't last long. Too much unburned fuel and water in the mixture. If you want to drain the airbox drains into something, put a small tank below the engine with a air vent in the top and a drain cock in the bottom. Drain it out periodically. The company made some check valves that open at stopped and idle and close when the engine runs at speed.
I will tell you about a silly thing I had with a 6-92. I ran the thing for several years. Always threw out a lot of oil. I had the pan off one time. I noticed the dipstick full mark was way up in the block. I had been running the unit about 3 - 4 inches too full of oil. They get rid of what they don't want. | |
