Iowa | CAT sell a weld-on adapter that we use when the "tapered flange" (that mates up/clamps to the rear of the turbo) has failed or cracked on the OEM exhaust pipe. Part #9N1940. You can stick in a straight pipe; or 30, 45 or 90 degree piece of standard 5" truck exhaust, then weld it up at the angle you choose. The 5" actually fits inside this adapter about 3/8"(the adapter is like the female part). Works good. The whole adapter is probably only 1 1/8" wide. This may or may not be what you are looking for. | |
