nc IA		on the local news last night - Iowa DNR - deer applications are down this year significatly from out of state hunters, figure it is due to the poor economy more then the fact that they significatly raised the FEES for out of state (but took pity and didn't do so on the in state due to economy).... But doesn't really matter as they STILL have more applicants then they will EVER issue liscenses out for.

Last week: 2nd person either killed or severely injured when motorcycle hit deer in this area.

We feed them, they protect them and tax / liscense them and they are not liable for them - but will sue on their behalf. gotta love the DNR!
