Jon, I always wondered and I think you answered the question for me. When someone refers to the boondocks you can honestly say you live there?

Of course, I can't say a helluva lot either. My tire guy I use is close to that away from me as well and if I get in a pinch and need one now and the other fella isn't busy, he's still a good 25 miles from me.




Yep, 1 inch hole are a little much for the worm bedding /antifreeze to plug. :-(

Yes, I would say we are dead center in the boondocks . I judge that by the fact that any town in any direction large enough to have a big box store is 90-110 miles down the road.
That was a problem when we were dirt track racing, besides trying to do everything on the car, road time to any of the three tracks was 2---2-1/2 hours one way. 5 hours driving and get home at 3 AM, 2-3 times a week. We were young then LOL. ;-)
