Subject: EZ steer getting cheaper

Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
Brand new Trimble EZ guide 500s (WAAS signal) with the EZ steer and T2 can be had for $5,600 and some change. You can get one unlocked for Omnistar for about $1,600 additional. Omnistar has a subscription so that would be $800 or $1,500 per year, depending on the level of accuracy you want. (you can buy less than a year subscription too) So you could get a very accurate system now for just over $7000. If you take your time, and wait until winter, I bet some used ones will become available. We have 5 EZ 500s and 5 EZsteers. Got a few them from ebay, and some used ones from guys on this forum. I never had trouble using them or needed service from a dealer so far. This forum will get you as much advice as the average person needs.
