I know pieces of this have been discussed several times here, but to bring it all together, is there a common consensus as to whether an older (1990) Magnum will operate a 16 row 30" 1770 Deere vac planter without too much trouble? I am purchasing a planter this summer for next year and really want a 1770 NT but don't plan to trade tractors to make it happen. If it won't work a vac perfectly, then I'll buy a finger pickup unit.
