Woodstock,New Brunswick.Canada | I have several highway trucks,in my experience increasing h.p. will increase fuel mileage.It,s not how much power you have it,s how hard you push the truck,if you have more power you can back off the throttle and still get the job done,if you are low on power you always have the foot to the floor.I argued this point with a friend who had several highway trucks,he used to keep his trucks at the lower h.p. settings for his drivers.He finally set up one truck to the highest settings and gained 3/4 mile to the gallon,he could not believe it.He set up all his trucks and saved a lot of money and had happy drivers.If I were you I would leave it alone and and try to learn to lift the foot a little bit just enough to get the job done the way you want. |
