Like the above posters said, so much of it depends on what you are CURRENTLY running. I can tell you what I do: I run a Deere 2600 to get my variable rate into my Rawson controller. My Rawson's are tied to some John Blue piston pumps. It took me a while to get my 2600 talking to my Rawson controller, but it works quite well now.

One thing: do you have access to someone who can program your data cards? I use Easi-Suites by a company called mapshots to make my own. It's a rather expensive and involved process, but I don't have anyone around who can do what I want.
