It really all depends on what you are after. If you want to varible rate your nitrogen on soil samples, you can up upload them onto a SD Card. When applying fall/spring VRT anhydrous I run a Raven SCS 440 and then upload the prescriptions to the Viper via the SD Card. The prescriptions are determined by the soil sample results.

With the 440 you can set 2 different rates from the get go so and can alternate between these 2 rates on the go.

How do you plan on determining your different rates?
