Depends on the system you are running. We run the AIM Command system and it is "fairly" quick to charge the boom when you take off. We have noticed a problem in both (we have 2 identical 4420's) as we take of the sray boom has a tendency to "spit and sputter" for the first 35-40 feet even if the boom is charged. The faster you come out of the corner the less it spits.... The AIM system uses the solinoids to force the product through the nozzel to the ground thus reducing drift. It is also supposed to keep the pump at a certain pressure no matter how fast or slow we may be traveling so we should be apying a constant rate.... DOesn't always work that way though....
