Coldwater, Michigan
That is a great place to start. The squeeze pump on this planter was never very accurate. Just as bad as the squeeze pump on a JD 7200 for accuracy, or lack thereof. I personally like the no brainer that a ground driven Hypro D19, or a John Blue DD-43 diaghram pump provides. Use that pump to push the fertilizer thru a manifold with orfices and check valves. Set it, and drive the speed that works for your system. The pressure is regulated by by-passing it on the supply line. That works well for seed placing fertilizer in small amounts.

For larger amounts, same principles apply, just use a bigger pump and orfices/manifold.
