It's not your tractor, you are trying to pull too much planter. We had a 1790 16/31 and 16/32, in corn when the splitters aren't down you can probably pull it but when you go to the 15"'s your don't have enough snort. i would sa ya you need a min. of an 8220. we pulled ours w/ a 8220/30 and in no till you knewit was behind you . This is on flat black land.
