Pulling a 24r22" with an 8130 and IVT, the transmission really takes some getting used to. I felt I had plenty of power, maybe it is the tranny that is throwing you off, I am still not used to running it. I set it at 5.6 mph and set the rpm at 1600 and it held right at 5.5 to 5.6 mph and the rpms ran as low as 1400 at times and when it started to pull it went back up to 1600.
