I had that problem too. I tried taking the guards off and putting 2 on 1 so you had the full circle instead of 1/2-didn't make a difference. Actually considered spot welding on some razor blades or something to cut it when it started wrapping.

In a couple fields it was so bad that I finally just ended up spraying RUP a couple days ahead and then raised the row cleaners up.

Hated to do it but couldn't wait another week for stuff to die off. Will see what it costs because about 1/3 of my fields were planted that way. Tough year to no-till-learned that late planting with no fall spraying is something I never ever want to do again.

Maybe you can figure something out and sell it to Shoup.
