Subject: Help, chemical inductor problems....

SE South Dakota
Local aerial appicator bought one of these chemical inductors the uses a siphon to pull the chemical into the water line so the chemical does not go thru the transfer pump. Well the problem he has is he only loads up to 300 gall per load and the tank on his plane is full before the siphon has pulled all the chem out of his inductor tank. Seems to be not enough suction. The unit was purchased as a total assembly ($1100) at a trade show from a dealer from North Dakota. Called the dealer and all he could say was that "it should to work".

I think it would seem to work fine if you were loading a 1000 gallon farm sprayer but 300 gallons it doesn't cut it. I have not seen the unit work so I can only guess as to the fix. Mine on the farm I just run the chem thry the pump, no problem.

Can anybody help?? R & R spraying needs some help on this one. He has a couple of ideas but would appriciate any more.
