Subject: Re: JD radial bean meters population problem

North Dakota
ya i think that plays a part. i got these asgrow ag0401 and the seed count is 3020 but some of my rows were seeding more. they were running out faster than the others so i switched them rows to the A setting and now it seems like i am seeding pretty evenly. but i set it on a 16 driver and a 22 driven and it seemed like i was seeding between 120 and 130,000 but when i quite for the day it seemed as thou my population droped. my math is telling me that i only got a little over 100,000 on. i hope that the seed size is alittle smaller than what it says. there was another guy on agriculture.com and he said 16-22 was a 120,000 setting that he had in his johndeere 7000 book. so i guess im gonna set it back up and start agin. ill fill it up and see what i can get done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
