It seems like CNH gave Versatile some engines with poor cranks. All the cranks gears mentioned are torque tested for slippage before the engines are installed. If it fails the test a new crank is installed. The tractors are also dynoed for a few hours also because of the gear slippage problem. The pre-testing has eliminated the problem occurring in the field.
