Subject: Back tires on a Spray Coupe 220???

North Western Alberta
My Spray Coupe had the Wrangler Mud Grip tires on it. (7.50-16s) I think they were a military tire or something, cause they were GNARLY!! Anywhoo.... looks like its time to replace them, due to multiple flats. Im thinking a set of 285/16s will fit, but they will be a bit taller, and a fair bit wider. SHould help the getting stuck thing. I will go with a set of mud tires, like a Mud T/A or so, in a 10 ply so its tough. THen, I should be able to spray at around 14 or 15 mph, cause I spray at 13 right now.

Any thoughts on tires? Id really like to get a different set of rims, and mount a set of swather tires on the back. Apparently, they are mostly the 20.5-16.1 size, so you cant put them on a normal 16" rim, that is widened. Has to be a 16.1 rim.

Anyways, I have some custom paddles built, so if it gets really soft, I can run those. But, these 285 mud tires should be pretty good no?
