Subject: 3588 Week hydraulics

Callao Missouri
3588 suddenly developed week hydraulics. I put a gauge in the coupler and it is only carrying 2000 psi. All 4 coupler's are the same. I replaced the cartridge relief valve under the cab floor and still 2000 psi no change.

I realize this is a pfc closed center system so why does it have a relief valve to start with?
All other functions steering and brakes work fine but they don't require 2300 + psi to function.
This tractor has an external pump below the speed housing and it looks like it may have a pump in the differential housing as well.
The tractor was stuck at the time of the failure. I am leaning towards a blown oring some where, maybe the plate that the pump attaches to by the compensator housing inside the differential cover. Does that happen very often? I have seen it happen on the open center tractors.

Anyone have a book or IT manual on this animal I could barrow over the weekend? Thanks Jon
