Saronville NE | Personally I would go either with the Deere or CIH Puma. I think the Challenger is a good tractor, but there resale value sucks big time or at least around here, after a couple yrs you can buy them for half of the other brands. I dont care for AGCOs joystick control for their hyds, that little bitty ball like thing you push lightly with a finger. For joystick control give me lever that I can grab onto and move, not some little toy like game control joystick.
But service and parts after the sale is what really counts. Thats why here JD and CIH win out. Ive got 4 JD dealers within 15-30 min, and 3 CIH dealers with 15-30 min. Challenger dealer is 40 min away, Agco 30min-1 hr away. NH dealer 45min-1 1/2 hrs. When Im broke down I dont like having to spend a half a day on the road to get parts, so I will stick to JD or CIH for that reason. | |
