Woodham, Ontario | The cultivator covers about 500 twice for 1000 acres per year and we lose 3 or 4 tines per year.
After a rainy day I checked all wheelbearings and pivot bearings and 5 had a lot of play. Took those apart and they looked okay. One seal had failed and I replaced that bearing as well. The rest I repacked and tightened them. They have not caused any further problems. The bolts holding the harrows and rollingbaskets are breaking regularly.
We have not had any big problems with it this year, but I spent more time on it. | |
