Subject: auto tire sensor

south east SD
Neighbor buys a new Chevy with the tire sensor in the wheels. Light goes off says he has a low tire. He is 75 years old and blows air in all tires and goes to the Chevy dealer. He did not buy it there because he spends time in Texas and SD with his 2 daughters it is a Texas dealers car in SD. They tell him all his trouble is from TOO much air in the tire's and charge him $67 to look at the problem and to fix the leaking tire with a plug and let some air out of the others!! My neighbor is pissed and tell me as I know the dealer really well. I think I will go to the dealer and ask why. I want to know does those tires sensor's go off with too much air in them? I do know that the tire sensors are a real pain in the butt for dealers, but this is a little much. It should be under warranty except for the tire repair...............Thanks
