Did any manufacturers make large suitcase type weights that could be bolted onto something? Would be nice if I could get one weight that weighed 200-250lbs. I don't know how heavy the original Deere front end weights were but they aren't flat like I'd like to have.

How heavy is solid steel compared to cast? Perhaps I could find some cutoffs from a local mfg. at a discount? I'd like to keep it as small of a package as possible.
