| I suggest running a cable from this bracket back to the rear half of the tractor. the articulation joint is nowhere near strong enough to take the stress that pulling out from just the front frame will put on it. You get stuck good enough and you will be dragging out two halves, not one! Check out any of the tow cables made for scrapers from Deere, Case or Challenger and they are all cables run from the front to the rear for this exact reason! I bet you could copy the Deere scraper cable for less than it took to make this bracket and would be safer to use.
