Rivers, MB
How many feet is your drill. 52'? What size of openers? Does your 9390 handle it well? Driving by on Sunday, it looked bigger than 50' but smaller than 60'.
How can you VR with a green drop system. Is your pump hyd. driven? Or do you have a flow meter with a control valve and just set the ground drive pump to be supplying more than your max app rate? My appeal with the green drop system is that you can use suspension phosphate and potash (using this in fall when double shooting with NH3). However flowmeters and suspension liquid do not mix apparantly and so the Pattison system doesn't work either with suspension because of the small orifices and flowmeter. The Mennonite in me doesn't like paying for something when there is a cheaper alternative!! However, the suspension doesn't allow for a VR option which is definitely something we will be doing more of. We are currently doing some VR work with NH3 with Cargill and Farmers Edge.
Happy seeding
