The only thing Gary told me was not to fill the dry dispenser up. Just put enough talc or graphite to cover the bottom good. We just put it in a couple inches deep if that much. We put it in every time we fill the planter
I have both the liquid and dry dispensers and haven't had any problems. Gary is usually the best to talk to there.
