Upstate New York | I purchased a 4 pro box unit this year from these guys and over all I'm very pleased with the unit. My problem is that I can't seem to get the dry inoculant/talc dispenser to function right. Well, I sould say the dispensor works right but I cant get the material to mix with the seed right. When I use talc for corn or peat based inoculant for beans, both materials just build up on the upper side of the hopper and then plug up the square tube that goes to the dispenser. I took the hopper apart and trimmed the auger tube at the bottom of the auger, it was about an inch high, I thought it was not allowing everything to slide down, it didn't help. I called the company and talked to someone, it wasn't the owner ( I don't know if I should use names) and he told me that they have never had a problem or complaint. I know that this is the place for everyone to compare notes. I just would like to know if I'm "the only one" with this problem. | |
