Personal computers do not have the continuous write activity like the previously mentioned systems. SSD devices tend to fail at known read/write cycles when put in these situations. I have solid state drives in all my personal computers. My NAS uses traditional hard drives as does my Ubiquiti surveillance system.
Why are we still using spinning disks?
