Besides removing weights, you could also evacuate all the natural air from all the tires & fill them w/helium. The only thing is, you'd want to make sure & always park inside a shed @ night so as not to have to go hunting for your planting unit after a windy night sometime. Actually, you don't say what kind of planter you have, but if you have a JD CCS, you could also fill the hoppers w/helium & really "float". Actually, I don't know what you'd do about down-pressure though. Something about "for every action....an equal and oppositie reaction....", or something like that. I heard someone educated recite that once, it stuck w/me.

I believe some agronomist-advisers (both those that are free & those that charge) are reporting excellent results with this notion.
