southern MN		Typically deleting files does not erase the actual data. It only tells the index that these spots on the hard drive are no longer reserved.

So any new files you save to the hard drive start using those spots.

If you want to save any data, don’t use the hard drive. Or your activity will start writing new info on top of what you want to recover.
