Concur on the paperwork. EPA, fire marshal, safety plan, it's a nightmare. The only paper needed is the last one. The other two are big brother's.
Actually have the same situation of my own. Have an old house that needs to be gutted and refurbished, but might be better to raze it and start anew. Bad "basement" (about the same as OP; 6' and stone built) but I don't think a couple of trailers will get this hauled off. There's a lot of house there.
