Slicker than a Yes album. | I've got an Amana that is 20 years old. Still runs and I'll keep on having it fixed. Why? Old repairman (the best kind) said as long as I can do that, it'll be cheaper than buying a new one every 12-18 months. He did not have much good to say about the newer ones. I know this doesn't help much, but it's what I've been told. That being said, I'd have to go with Amana or Whirlpool. If you can find a small, local appliance store, ask who makes what. Apparently, there are only 2 manufacturers of freezers in the US. A lot of rebranding going on. |
