Anything bought at Sears with the brand Kenmore could be any brand of microwave, dishwasher, stove, washer/dryer, etc...

Sears contracts with appliance manufacturer's for "x" million units and best bid gets the contract.  Sears will never say who made their microwave, (they do know) but if you have access to a good independent appliance repairman,, they should know who made the actual microwave, that way you'll know which actual brand to avoid.

Keep in mind model quality can change alot even within a single brand name.
