Over the years, we have had a couple Sharp brand microwaves. They were both huge disappointments. The one we have now says "Whirlpool" on the fornt and has been very good.

We bought the Sharps because of price, and they had a turntable at the time when most didn't. Maybe that's where Sears got the one you had.
