| I got a brand new Sears "2-seater" go-cart in 1972. Seems like it cost around $200 back then. Truck freight delivered it from the mfg to the local PO.
The go-cart had 2 1/2 HP Tecumseh with enough power for a 10 yr old kid and a top speed of 15 mph. Put two 10 yr old kids on it and it was tough to hit the governed speed.
Stopping and then starting out again with the centrifical clutch/chain drive one-wheel drive on a fresh cow pie was a nasty experience.
