My farm plate for my semi in Colorado is $135 for the tractor (since it is over 10 years old) and $19 for the 42' grain trailer. Sounds like Illinois is not very farm friendly! If your truck is newer than 10 years they make you pay property tax on it when you buy your license plates.
What's the most economical (cheapest) way to haul grain?
