Blue Grass (Eastern IA) | Had a plot this year. No till, COC, poorly drained clay soils, 130lbs N as 32% with planter. nutrisphere 180bu, check 165. Not a scientific plot, just split the field in half, so no replications, but I could see to the row where the nutisphere started. With flooding rains and poorly drained soil, anything to keep the N from leaching really paid this year. Will use it on all Ac. next year as long as they don't jack up the $. | |
