We sprayed headline on 80a out of 380a as a trial because we were told that rust was not going to be a problem with our sunflowers. We didn't do any official yield trial but would estimate that we got 1600lbs a. on the treated and about 1200lbs a on the untreated on the same 1/4. Quite a bit of the difference in yield was in the bu. weight. If??? we grow sunflowers again we will look at spraying all our acres.

We probably won't seed the Jaguars again because we have had 2 years now where test weight has been an issue. We do like the chemical resistance package so we will have to look for a different variety.
