Hmmm...I would be careful with 18% sunflowers. DO NOT SHUT THAT FAN OFF. We had some heat up over night in the truck. It doesn't take very long either for them to mold at that temp. I also use a little heater in front of my fan. malme supply in fargo, nd sold it to me and recommended that you heat the air going into the fan approx 5-10 degrees. The particular one that I bought runs on propane. Depending how you set it 100lbs of propane will last about 3 days. this varies greatly depending on the cfm of your fan, humidity, outside air temp, etc. It works great. It's not as fast as a dryer however it does work and it's relatively cheap. I used it on 15% flowers this year with no problem. I dryed 21% corn last fall with it. Not the total ticket but a good tool. Works better with alot of air. Good luck and let us know how it works out.
