I'm not saying it isn't a concern..:(.........but for me, I would consider birds and snow this time of year, more of a concern.

Are birds not much of an issue in your area?

I used to grow all confections but have went to all oils the last 5 years or so.

My proven yield is around 1900# and i averaged around 2200 # this year.

Again, let ne know how things turn out.
