Eastern Ontario | No nematodes that I know of. My biggest worry this spring was phytophthora, as I had seen some the years before. Turn out there was almost none, but we have seen a field hit pretty good with brown stem rot. I don't think it did much damage as the field still turned out a yield of 1.4 mt/a. That would be a very good yield for that particular field. I am worried about disease as the years go by, but so far we have been lucky. In the event we have a major wipe out, we are covered by crop insurance. With the ever increasing yields, I think we will be OK.
