believe it or not the theory was always that you need ortho because it was the only type the plant could absorb. Work done in recent years at a couple of the Universities, says the ortho/poly actually seems to be better. As to ortho not hitting the plant, it would still be absorbed by the roots because it has to be in ortho form to be taken into the plant. That was why the theory was always ortho.

As to what works, either one potentially does. What are you trying to foliar feed? When do you want to do it? What do you expect out of it? Minor element, or A complete formula? Are you being realistic?
