Camrose, Alberta | Talking to my local agronomist we both agree that 71-45 seems to always be the poorest looking variety, with skinny stems, less pods and shorter in height. But when the combines hit the field the yield is usually right up there with the other varieties. And afterall I am not growing canola as a sileage crop, so short height and skinny stems shouldn't matter and only yield should count. | |
