Galahad, Alberta | Ok, so similar to a Bourgault MRB system. There are lots of them around here, but no JD drills other than 1820s. I still don't like the mid row system, just because there is more steel in the ground, and they are costly to buy and maintain. Most farms around here are using a shank system with a double shoot boot. There are some guys making a move to the parallel link systems, like a Seed hawk, Seed master, Conservapak (JD) etc. We'll have to see how well they work. I want to see how well the seed bed is preserved with the two narrow tips in the ground.
