They were the Rite tractors.  Only thing built heavier then a Big Bud was a Rite.  The pic is a 1st series Rite 470 with a KT 1150 cummins and 12 sp Fuller RT 12513 tranny.  The next pic is a 2nd series 470 with a Detriot 8V92 and Allison coupled to a 4 speed Clark.  The last pic is the frame underneath the cab of the first Rite in my pictures.  That is a pepsi 21 oz pop bottle sitting on the frame just for comparison.  Also, on the Wagner/JD deal.  The way I heard it from a well know researcher is Wagner actaully wanted out of the tractor business and so they signed a contract with JD which in that agreement stated JD could terminated the contract at any time.
