Leesburg, Ohio
I remember going to the Farm-a-Rama at Wilmington College in 1960 with my Dad. I was in the first grade. They had a demo of the 8010 with the 8 or 10 bottom mounted plow...WOW, what a sight...everyone said "that'll never work!" 'Course I thought it was really great, and decided right then that someday I would be farming with "big" equipment! I'm still guilty of getting green paint disease...at least i admit to it. Farm-a-Rama in Wilmington, Ohio was sort of a predecessor to The Ohio State University's Farm Science Review. Pretty heady stuff for a 6 year old farm boy that was just learning to drive the John Deere 60 with the hand clutch.
