Chatham Ontario (1 hr east of Detroit) | I did our old house 5-6 yrs ago same thing got prices from a couple of basement experts 12-14000 range so I went to a couple of new houses seen what they did and started digging,paid my backhoe guy 400 to dig around the house,powerwashed the crap out of the foundation,fixed the cracks with mastec and fiberglass mesh,rolled on pail ofter pail ofter pail of tar,installed new perimiter tile but put it in an outside sump,wrapped the whole foundation with dimple board,put 18 inches or so of crushed stone on the tile and backfilled.It took about a week and my cost just came in around 2500 never had a leak since. |
